FAQS:

  • How many people do you shoot in a day?
Depends on the requirements of the shoot, generally only one person but never more than than two people in a day.  Of course if you are taking portraits as a couple or group then that would be an obvious exception.
  • Do you shoot with natural light or in the studio?
I shoot with natural light (indoors and outdoors) and studio lighting.  I prefer to shoot with natural light and augment with studio lighting whenever possible.
  • Do you shoot digital or film?
The majority of my sessions are digital but if film is a requirement we can shoot film, it is where I started and is a great media in is own right.
  • What is included in my package?
What is included in your package is entirely up to you and we will cover possibilities during our initial consultation.
  • Do you shoot color?
Yes, I primarily shoot in color but through the wonder of technology we can turn any image into black and white.  If traditional black and white is a requirement we can certainly shoot traditional black and white or infrared if that is decided upon as a requirement.
  • Do you provide makeup? Hair?
At your discression we can provide references for professional makeup artist and hair stylist and we highly recommend one.  Please come with your hair and makeup already styled.
  • What is your availability?
Depends on the requirements of the shoot, I am generally booked about two to four weeks in advance for studio time and the same time for outdoors which are of course at the mercy of Mother Nature.
  • When can we do a consultation?
My hours are typically Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.  Saturdays 10:00am to 5:00pm.  but I can usually make myself available at your convenience.  I am happy to do a phone consultation at anytime that's convenient for you.  Due to time contstraints, there is a $50 charge per hour, for in person meetings.  In the event that you decide to book a session, your $50 will apply towards the session.
  • What kind of clothing should I bring to my photo session?
Bring many and lots of your favorite clothes at least three wardrobe changes. That fit the theme of your desired session. Vibrant solid colors are great for color shoots.
  • Because answers to some questions are often individual and vary for each person, any other questions you may have regarding wardrobe, marketing looks etc. can most likely be answered with a phone call or during our initial consultation.
Please contact us with questions by email or by phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
